Tanganyika Zinzani is a New Jersey-based multidisciplinary visual artist merging the Black experience and culture with spirituality to channel growth, self-love, and liberation into the Black community.

In her work, she aims to create a one-on-one conversation between the piece and those who experience it, often by giving the impression that the subject matter is looking directly at the viewer.

In 2016, Zinzani graduated from Seton Hall University with a BA in Art, Design and Interactive Media with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Fine and Digital Art. During her studies, she launched her lifestyle brand— Zinzani Studios— which she refers to as an infusion of art, wellness, and culture.

Tanganyika Zinzani is an all around artist– she’s a painter, photographer, graphic designer, illustrator, collage artist, creative director, and curator. She has been regarded as a “master of color” and a “triple threat” for her captivating color combinations and vast artistic range.

She is inspired by vibrant colors, shapes, nature, Black people and culture, life experiences, and her own journey towards full liberation.
